What Our Reporter Saw After Days of Destruction Across Lebanon



Lebanon is reeling amid ongoing Israeli bombardments that have so far killed more than 700 people since Sept. 23, in Israel’s conflict with Hezbollah. Christina Goldbaum, a New York Times correspondent, traveled with her colleagues from Beirut through the Bekaa Valley in eastern Lebanon to report on the widespread devastation there after intense airstrikes.
