Jimmy Lai Found Guilty by Hong Kong Court

The Hong Kong media tycoon Jimmy Lai was found guilty on Monday in a landmark national security trial. The 78-year-old founder of a popular pro-democracy paper could face life in prison.

“And so this is an example, this is a perfect example, of how the law has been, the National Security law has been molded and weaponized against someone who essentially said stuff that they didn’t like.
