1. AutoZone
The store sells automotive replacement parts, accessories and vehicle maintenance items. This is the second Frisco location for the Memphis-based business, which has over 6,000 stores nationwide, including just over 700 in Texas, according to the company’s website.
2. Dee’s Table Burgers & More
The new eatery serves gourmet burgers, salads, tacos, po’ boys and more. Each meal is inspired by home-cooked meals and owner Dee Lincoln’s Louisiana upbringing, according to the release. The menu also features craft cocktails, local tap beer, spirits and wines.
This is not Lincoln’s first Frisco restaurant—Dee Lincoln Prime, a steakhouse and sushi bar located just down the street from Dee’s Table Burgers & More, opened in 2018.
3. First Lonestar Bank
The bank offers resources for personal and business accounts, said Kathy Bentley, vice president of marketing for First Liberty Bank. There are also services for nonprofit organizations, she said.
4. Frisco BaseCamp Restaurant and Bar
The restaurant offers dishes such as biryani, tandoori, curry and more. Additionally, all goat and chicken dishes are halal, according to the restaurant’s website. The restaurant is located in the space previously occupied by Dos Amigos Cantina, which closed in March.
5. Funky Munky Shaved Ice
The shaved ice stop offers gourmet flavor combinations, including a pineapple upside-down cake snow cone with pineapple chunks and a brown sugar reduction. Another option is a strawberry cheesecake snow cone topped with a cheesecake slice, whipped topping, graham cracker crumbs and strawberry drizzle.
6. Grandion Event Venue
The venue is available for birthdays, graduation parties, anniversaries, wedding receptions, corporate events and more. Event services include custom catering menus, professional lighting, personalized room staging, photo booth rentals and more, according to the business’s website. The venue can fit up to 300 guests, according to an email from a location representative.
7. Hold My Chai
The business sells specialty coffee and chai tea drinks but also serves pastries such as the croffle, a waffle and croissant hybrid.
8. Ooh La La Nail and Spa
The facility offers pedicure, manicure, facials and waxing. In addition, Ooh La La has VIP treatment rooms and a party room for up to 10 people.
9. Rachel’s Kitchen
Menu items include soups, pasta, sandwiches, smoothies and breakfast items such as pancakes and french toast. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten free meal options are also available.
10. Ramen Akira
The Japanese restaurant offers a variety of ramen along with rice dishes. Menu items at Ramen Akira include bluefin and avocado carpaccio, spicy garlic chicken ramen, curry rice, and deep-fried soft shell crab.
11. Umiya Sushi Seafood and Grill
The restaurant serves sushi rolls, hand rolls and tempura rolls. It also serves salads, appetizers, hibachi options and more.

12. Pinkberry
The business, which will be located in the Stonebriar Centre, will offer frozen yogurt in several tart and non-tart flavors and non-dairy options, according to the company website.
13. Romp n’ Roll
It offers themed gym, art, music, cooking and science classes as well as camps and parties for children aged 3 months-5 years.

14. Layne’s Chicken Fingers
The restaurant relocated its headquarters to a different Frisco location. The restaurant is known for its chicken tenders, crinkle-cut fries, Texas toast and milk shakes. Layne’s has 20 restaurants across four states.
In the news
15. Sky Zone
The trampoline park offers a space for birthday parties and events and programs such as dodgeball and obstacle courses. An exact opening date is unknown and the company did not respond to a request for comment; however, the company website states the location will open in 2025. Construction is expected to begin in August, according to documents filed with the state.
16. Chuy’s
Orlando-based Darden Restaurants is set to acquire Chuy’s for approximately $605 million, the companies announced in a July 17 joint news release. The Darden brand owns over 1,900 restaurants worldwide, including Olive Garden, LongHorn Steakhouse, Yard House, Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen and Bahama Breeze, among others.
17. Kroger and Albertsons Companies
The companies released a list of stores in July that could be sold if the two companies complete a nearly $25 billion merger agreement that was announced in 2022. The list plans for 26 stores in the Dallas-Fort Worth area to be sold to C&S Wholesale Grocers if the merger agreement is completed. The list includes store locations in Frisco, Flower Mound, Keller, McKinney, Plano and Richardson. Stores listed include Market Street, Albertsons and Tom Thumb, according to the document.
