Across the Lone Star State, the 120-year-old Association of Junior Leagues International is represented by 29 Texas-based chapters, four of which are among the 10 largest League chapters in the world. Roughly half of these chapters host an annual holiday market to support their philanthropic efforts across the state.<\/span><\/p>\n

From Lubbock to Austin to Longview and beyond, these holiday markets raise millions of dollars that are poured back into the communities they represent. The Junior League of Austin\u2019s A Christmas Affair, for example, in its 49th year, showcases more than 200 market vendors, draws 25,000 attendees each year, and raises approximately $1 million that supports signature programs like Coats for Kids, Food In Tummies, and numerous local non-profit partners.<\/span><\/p>\n
