The new Blakely restaurant marks franchisee PJ Patel\u2019s first Dickey\u2019s location, however the barbecue franchisee is no stranger to hospitality and servitude as his family has owned and operated Marathon Gas since 1997. The barbecue brand, which has been serving smoked favorites since opening its first location in Texas in 1941, features classic American barbecue staples such as pulled pork, brisket, coleslaw, barbecue beans and potato salad.
