Weekly Outfit Recap • BrightonTheDay

This week has honestly been a bit nuts with the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale happening, but I wanted to be sure to include a weekly outfit recap because several of the fits I wore are perfect for the transition from summer to fall. Obviously, we’re not there yet (it’s 96 in Dallas today) but I love to plan at least a month or two ahead when possible.

I found myself styling this gorgeous ruffle top a couple of times — both with shorts and white wide-leg jeans. This is a top I’ll absolutely be bringing into fall. There’s nothing like a classic black top.

One of the ways I deal with crazy weeks is by making sure I can move my body somehow a little each day. So, workout clothes were plenty this week. My staple lulu Align leggings were on repeat, and I definitely wore my current favorite bike shorts more than once.

I also need to share this rib-knit top because I love it so much. The colors are perfect for summer. I don’t typically include a TON of color into my wardrobe, but spring and summer are months I have a little fun playing around with it.

You can see everything I bought at the NSALE this week here. Everything I wore for the week is linked below. And don’t forget, you can check out more recent looks on my Amazon storefront or visit my LTK page!
