SOME OF MY FAVORITE LOOKS OF LATE

Hello, ladies! I hope everyone is doing well. We were in Montana for a few days last week to open up our cabin, and then headed over to Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, to surprise our next-door neighbor (from Montana) for her  60th birthday. We had an absolute blast! We had a boat ride around the lake and a fabulous dinner the first night. The lake is stunning, especially when riding around in the old wooden Stancraft boats. Our second day was spent on the golf course at Gozzer Ranch (opening day). I am not a golfer, but I did my best cheering on the group with my golf claps! The biggest clap came for my husband when he shot a hole-in-one! I’ve never seen champagne and photos come out so fast from a staff! Needless to say, he was pumped! That night, we went to a beautiful dinner at the Gozzer clubhouse to celebrate our friend! We were off the next day to Spokane to spend the night and catch a six 0’clock AM flight back home (so uncivilized!).

We got home to have our mothers over for Mother’s Day dinner. It’s been non-stop since then. My bestie, Janet (from LA), came to town and stayed for three days (left yesterday). We are working together on a project we are so excited about, which has taken up most of her time here, but we did get in some great dinners and a little shopping, too! We both bought these amazing pants, and now I want every color. I got this top to match!

I haven’t been getting together with my photographer because she’s been out of town, so it’s just me and my iPhone camera to show you some looks lately. It’s actually almost easier, but I know the photos aren’t nearly as good!

I wanted to show the first outfit above because of the beautiful top. This is one of those “going out tops” I can never find. I have a million T-shirts and button-downs, but the tops for dinners out, not so much! I saw this beautiful peachy lace number and fell in love. It’s the perfect “show top”! I paired it with an older blazer from Frame (similar) and white flare jeans. Oh, and a new bob haircut that didn’t look so hot that day. I swear, when you cut your hair off, it goes into shock!

This look is from a brand new to me, called Toccin. I went to an event they had and am now obsessed with the brand. It’s a husband-and-wife team who started in New York during COVID. I could buy almost my entire wardrobe from them (if I had lots of money!). Seriously, their price point is great, but I could have spent a lot on everything I wanted that day. I left with the white button-down shirt that cinches at the waist, the satin cargo pants that are a dream, and a dress version (comes in navy too) of the white button-down. I also loved this raglan cardigan, I’m wearing these chic little slingbacks, and this necklace (sorry, it’s not showing).

I love these fun jeans with the gold buttons. They look so chic. I paired them with a linen-stretch blazer I found at Anthropologie and a white tee. The straw bag is from last year at Zara (similar), and I just got these raffia mules from Staud. Obvi, this shot was before the haircut.

I wanted to show you this adorable embellished barn jacket that I swore was Veronica Beard (remember this?). This jacket is literally identical except that the color is a little less vivid. I am most always an extra small, but the jacket isn’t offered in that size, so I got the small. The sleeves were a little long, but as you can see, I just rolled them. My friend, Janet, who stayed with me, thought it was the Veronica Beard. This is my Montana summer jacket! I am wearing these jeans and these Gucci slides (the brown is so good!).

That’s it for today. I have a lot to catch up on, starting today. I hope you all have a great Sunday!

Stay safe and Be well! xx
